The University Grill in Ft Myers is accepting resumes for the position of General Manager. A local favorite since 1997, the restaurant is a celebration of classic American flavors, with a focus on fresh seafood, premium steaks, and hand-crafted martinis.
Applicants must be tenured in the position of GM and able to step in and mature in the position in a short period of time.
All the classic attributes must be present ( personable, great communicator, able to hire, train and lead a team) as well have a grasp on BOH functions, able to understand food, liquor and labor costs.
A very hands-on position in all facets of the business from helping to put away orders, running food, bussing and working a secondary position(pantry/fry) if needed.
Open Thanksgiving and closed Christmas.
50 hour work week with benefits ( insurance) available after 90 days.
