As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents. Facility Name and Address: Sandy Park Development Center 2975 Garden Street North Fort Myers - 33917 Purpose: This position directly supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position helps with everyday meal service (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks). Essential Duties: Serves consistently correct portion sizes following food textures, therapeutic diets and special meal card instructions. Stock food/supplies; seal, date and label correctly. Inform supervisor of sudden deficiencies in inventory. Demonstrate a working knowledge of safety, utilizing equipment in a safe manner. Demonstrate a working knowledge of sanitation and infection control standards and of 64E-11 regulations. Document temperatures for refrigeration units, dishwashers and food. Follow snack lists and distribute to houses; seal, date and label. Serve meals on time. Assist in dining room during delivery of meal. Required Qualification: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Must be 16 years of age or older. Maintain the ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, walk and stand for up to sixteen (16) hours, up to three (3) times per week. Preferred Qualifications: 6 months experience preferred working with Intellectual/Developmental Disability populations. Salary/Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour Working Conditions:

Ability to lift unassisted a least thirty five (35) lbs.
