Civil Engineering – Engineering Intern E.I. (Full Time)
Southwest Florida based civil engineering design and consulting firm, with an office in Naples, Florida is seeking a motivated, hardworking, committed, graduate Civil Engineering Intern, looking to grow professionally. The successful candidate will assist with the design of private, and public civil engineering infrastructure projects in a small design studio setting. Engineering certification or the ability to obtain engineering certification within 6 months of employment is desired. Southwest Florida resident is preferred.
The employment scope of services will include assisting in every aspect of civil engineering infrastructure design for land development and public works projects. The position requires fundamental knowledge of computing systems and design software or an aptitude to learn various design software applications. Knowledge and basic proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is preferred, but not required. The position also includes client, and regulatory communication and project management activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and the ability to utilize the array of Microsoft Office products. The open position will appeal to an individual that desires to practice civil engineering from concept to completion of construction.
