AUTOCAD DRAFTER/TECHNICIAN
Tampa based Land Surveying company looking for qualified Auto CAD (Civil 3D) Drafter/Technician for our Ft. Myers Office. The position is an entry level or skilled Auto CAD draftsman to work with senior draftsman/engineer to sketch technical drawings, develop engineering site plans and schematics using (Auto CAD Civil 3D) computer-aided design software. The responsibilities will also include occasional travel throughout the Southwest, West Central and Central Florida area, working with the survey equipment and field crews. A minimum of 1 years’ experience with emphasis on 3D Civil drafting, mapping, and surveying. This is a Full-Time position reporting to the Ft. Myers office M-F.

Candidates should be able to do the following:
Draft Subdivision Plats, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and other related Surveys using (Civil 3D)
Create Staking Plans for crew from Client provided CAD plans
Prepare Record Drawings from Field As-Built Surveys
Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Crews, and Clients
Build 3D Surface Models
Write Legal Descriptions
Residential and Commercial Surveys
Metes and Bounds and Sectional Boundary Surveys
ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
Topographic Surveys / Full Design Surveys
Preparing TINs, surface models, and contours
General computer skills in MS Windows environment including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Capabilities and Credentials
Land/Construction Surveying background
Well-developed understanding of general concepts of residential/commercial survey work.
Working knowledge of relevant technical software, field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations preferred
Strong Knowledge and Skillset in AutoCad Civil 3D
Strong communication and organizational skills.
