A truck tracer is responsible for tracking and monitoring the movement of trucks or fleet vehicles for a variety of purposes, such as logistics, transportation, or delivery services.
The job duties will include:
1. Monitoring: Tracking the real-time location, speed, and route of trucks using GPS and other tracking systems.
2. Communication: Maintaining regular contact with drivers to ensure smooth operations and provide updates on routes, weather conditions, or any changes in schedules.
3. Dispatching: Coordinating truck routes based on delivery schedules, dispatchers requests, and traffic conditions.
4. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of truck movements, including departure times, arrival times, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
5. Troubleshooting: Identifying and addressing issues or delays in truck operations, such as breakdowns, accidents, or detours, to minimize disruptions and ensure timely deliveries.
6. Customer Service: Responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional service to drivers or dispatchers regarding truck deliveries.
7. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to applicable transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all truck operations.
8. Problem-solving: Proactively identifying potential challenges or bottlenecks in the transportation process and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Compensation will be based on experience.
