Details
Monday to Friday
8:30am to 5:30pm
$18.50/Hour
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van or box truck to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks
- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any delays, accidents, or other issues that may arise during deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with CDL with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles, such as box trucks or vans
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading goods
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
