Delivery Driver
Leading Roller Shade Manufacturer Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is hiring a full-time delivery driver for weekly route in the Palm Beach, Broward and Miami Dade County area. In addition to the Tri County area, we also deliver to the Tampa area once a week.
The main role is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of our products to our customers in the above areas.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a large Sprinter delivery Van, follow a planned route and delivery schedule.
Load and unload our products from the vehicle and ensure proper handling and securing of the load.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and perform maintenance checks such as fluid levels, tire pressure etc.
Verify the accuracy of the delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
While not on the road, the driver will help in our shipping department.
Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
Previous Experience as a delivery driver preferred.
Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
The ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 70 lbs).
