A Large Fortune 100 Construction company is HIRING SAFETY MANAGERS in MIAMI-DADE area.

Applicant should have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in speech and writing with members at all levels throughout an organization; strong writing skills with the ability to interpret safety standards; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with diverse personalities. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and display a high-level of organizational skills.

Position requires to conduct Jobsite Inspection, reports, orientations and additional construction related safety training.

JOB SCOPE:

· Undertake job-site inspections, hazard observations, near miss investigations and audits across all operational projects and sites, as deemed necessary

· Identify, develop and deliver safety training in areas such as: safety regulation, hazardous conditions, use of tools and equipment etc.

· Ensure company remains compliant and informed of industry regulatory changes such as OSHA.

· Managing, implementing, and enforcement of the Safety and Health Program in accordance with the accepted Accident Prevention Plan for the company and the General Contractor

· Conduct safety and health inspections and maintain a written log. Accumulate weekly evaluation reports.

· Conduct incident investigations and complete required reports.

· Maintain inventory of safety equipment

· Train Temporary Worker on fall protection and flagger training

· Have the flexibility to occasionally work beyond regularly scheduled hours

· Be on call for safety emergencies

· Travel throughout South Florida and occasionally other parts of Florida.

· Travel overnight when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in occupational health & Safety or an equivalent combination of education & experience

· OSHA CERTICICATION (at least 30 hours).

· Ability to work well and communicate efficiently with clients, subcontractors and other team members

· Cooperative and positive attitude a must

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
