Lead Service Technician

This position is an opportunity for an energetic experienced commercial/residential service technician looking to take the next step in their career. A minimum of 8 years of broad plumbing experience in residential and commercial is required. The right candidate will possess a Winning attitude and the desire to participate with a winning team. Working closely with our Service Director to ensure success and support to our technicians in the field. The position is a gateway to further management opportunities within the company.

The ideal candidate shall be results oriented that possesses extensive experience in code compliance, safety, quality control, service work, mentorship, coachable, dependable, consistent, and be recognized as a team player with excellent coaching and training skills to effectively earn the respect of our collective team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

1. Results driven professional with a desire to take charge and be accountable.

2. Manage, coach and support team of service professionals.

3. Assist in the development and improve the performance of our service team.

4. Controlling and managing daily activities.

5. Taking direction and facilitating field related challenges daily.

6. Troubleshooting support to field technicians.

7. Arrive on potential jobs and put together a narrative including material take-offs, labor hours, and other information need to perform the services needed.

8. Be able to take calls when needed in addition to daily management support duties.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Analyze and control labor cost on installation jobs to assure favorable profit margins.

Support Service Director in all aspects of field related necessities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Lead Service Technician will also have the following:

Able to take decisive action and work with others to reach a viable solution and goal

Knowledgeable and well informed, with hands-on experience of the industry.

Strong analytical skills

An effective communicator with strong oral and written skills.
