Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/General Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of maintenance and repair skills, with the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with specialized contractors when advanced repairs or installations are needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property managers and tenants.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including written invoices for work completed and submitting receipts for supplies needed.
- Assist in renovation and improvement projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or General Contractor.
- General understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other repair skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
