Job Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively on construction sites and collaborate with other trades to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installation.
Perform pipe threading, welding, and other fabrication tasks as necessary for system assembly.
Conduct inspections of existing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure proper integration of fire protection systems into building designs.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including construction sites.
Experience
Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter or Helper in a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with rigging techniques and the ability to plumb pipelines effectively.
Experience with construction site operations and safety practices is essential.
Strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards is advantageous.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
