Technician II - Electrician

Job Summary:

The Technician II - Electrician position requires at least 8 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or Service Electrician. The ideal candidate should possess an advanced knowledge of lighting systems, wiring diagrams, electrical systems, electrical equipment, switch gear, transformers, motors, motor controls, and related materials. They should also be familiar with the power tools used in electrical work. The role involves lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in elevated areas. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings is necessary.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or Service Electrician

- Advanced knowledge of lighting systems, wiring diagrams, electrical systems, equipment, switch gear, transformers, motors, and motor controls

- Proficiency in using power tools for electrical work

- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stoop, bend, climb ladders, and work at heights

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

- Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

- Perform electrical maintenance and service tasks as required

- Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, wiring, electrical equipment, switch gear, transformers, motors, and motor controls

- Utilize power tools safely and effectively in electrical applications

- Follow a flexible work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings

- Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors

- Collaborate with colleagues on projects and tasks

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

- Ensure timely completion of assigned work
