We are looking for a skilled combo technician (body man & painter) with experience. We offer good pay & a growing opportunity within the company.
We are a small shop with a paint booth in the area of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we are looking for an individual that can excel and do the same quality work they would do in a big shop or dealership. Our small location is limited to space so we have a fast turn around time when repairing and delivering vehicles. Our shop specializes in light body work and painting classic cars for our new and repeat customers.
Compensation will be discussed in person. We do not have any problem paying very well for top quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair and restore damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition,
Perform skilled bodywork, including panel replacement, welding, and rust repair,
Execute paintwork, color matching, and finish to achieve high-quality results,
Straighten and align frames, chassis, and body components,
Diagnose and repair structural and safety-related issues,
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Body/Collision Technician,
- Strong expertise in bodywork and collision repair,
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for bodywork,
- Understanding of vehicle structures and frame straightening,
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering top-quality work,
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment,
- Relevant certifications and training are a plus.
Must have own tools and transportation.
