Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time YouTube Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, shaping our YouTube content into engaging, visually stunning masterpieces that captivate our audience and drive engagement.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with our content creators to understand project goals and vision.
Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that align with our brand identity and messaging.
Employ creative storytelling techniques, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the viewer's experience.
Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube and other social media platforms, including attention-grabbing thumbnails and compelling titles.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually elevate our content.
Requirements:
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including cutting, trimming, transitions, effects, and color correction.
Creativity and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for storytelling through visual media.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and feedback effectively.
Knowledge of YouTube best practices, including SEO, audience engagement strategies, and copyright/fair use guidelines.
Experience managing Youtube videos in the Youtube Studio
A portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity
Ideally having experience launching and managing your own YouTube channel
Fluency in English and Spanish
