In addition to in-store responsibilities, this role includes responding to email inquiries and providing outstanding customer service both in person and online.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Excellence:
Greet customers warmly, creating a personalized, memorable shopping experience.
Respond to customer inquiries via email, offering thoughtful and timely assistance.
Assess customer needs and recommend merchandise aligned with their style preferences.
Provide professional styling advice to help customers create complete looks.
Assist customers in fitting rooms, manage wait times, and offer styling support.
Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling to exceed individual sales targets.
Store Operations & Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store atmosphere.
Replenish merchandise, re-rack items, and ensure displays align with the brand’s image.
Perform regular inventory checks to ensure product availability in-store and online.
Assist with receiving, tagging, and organizing new shipments.
Inventory Management & Digital Support:
Update and manage inventory on the boutique’s website and social media platforms.
Ensure product listings are accurate, visually appealing, and up to date.
Conduct regular audits to maintain consistency between in-store and online inventory.
Social Media & Creative Contributions:
Collaborate on content creation for social media, including photoshoots and styling products.
Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.
Stay informed on fashion trends to enhance store displays and styling suggestions.
Styling & Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and the boutique’s brand identity.
Provide styling expertise to customers, helping them achieve their ideal look.
Educate customers on product features, benefits, and styling options.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service preferred.
Proficiency in inventory systems and social media platforms (e.g., Shopify, Instagram).
Passion for fashion with an eye for styling and creating complete looks.
Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and via email.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
