We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Freight Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation management, logistics sales, and account management.
Duties:
- Contact potential clients
- Negotiate with potential clients
- Utilize transportation management software to manage logistics
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Manage accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the sales team on inside sales initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience in freight, logistics, or transportation industry (will train the right individual)
- Good computer skills
- Strong negotiation skills for contract agreements
- Ability to manage accounts effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in 3PL (third-party logistics)
- Familiarity with logistics sales processes
- Proficiency in account management practices
