Markys Gourmet Store is expanding its team and is looking for a dedicated Store Employee to join our Meat Slicing Production Department.
Main Responsibilities:
Professional slicing and portioning of meat products only using a slicing machine.
Skilled knife work: trimming, cutting, and preparing various meats.
Weighing, packaging, and labeling products according to established standards.
Organizing and restocking meat products in production and storage areas.
Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, equipment, and tools.
Strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene requirements.
Periodic work in low-temperature environments (cold rooms and freezers).
Ability to lift/move goods weighing 10–50 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role (meat processing, butcher, deli production).
Confident use of a meat slicer and knives.
Reliability, responsibility, and motivation to work in a team.
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Legal authorization to work in the USA.
English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.
