Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated and highly organized Field Merchandiser to manage the in-store presentation, stock levels, and promotional execution of their products across grocery retail locations. This individual will travel between stores, ensure merchandising compliance with planograms and store layouts, and supervise seasonal and promotional display strategies. They will also lead store-level initiatives, provide insights into customer behavior, and act as the primary liaison between the brand and retail teams. The ideal candidate brings leadership ability, merchandising knowledge, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, changing retail environment.
Profile For Best Success Should Include:
3+ years of merchandising, retail, or grocery experience, with leadership responsibilities or experience managing above-store-level initiatives
Understanding of planograms, store layouts, seasonal merchandising cycles, gross profit margins, and inventory management
Experience managing product displays, stock levels, and promotional activities in alignment with store strategy
Strong understanding of customer buying behavior and how merchandising impacts sales
Ability to handle supply issues and troubleshoot in-store challenges with retailers
Proven skills in maintaining accurate data and reporting store visit outcomes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual proficiency is a plus
Computer literacy with the ability to use reporting tools and mobile apps
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between multiple store locations
Comfortable supervising store-level display execution and working independently or as a team lead
Strong time management skills and flexibility in schedule to accommodate store needs
Ability to prepare and manage a visit schedule and complete detailed store activity reports
