Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Permit Runner to join our team. The Permit Runner will be responsible for obtaining, tracking, and managing all necessary permits for our construction projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that our projects comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Visit various government offices and agencies to submit and retrieve permit applications.
- Track the status of permit applications and follow up as needed.
- Communicate with project managers and clients to provide updates on permit status.
- Maintain organized records of all permits and related documents.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with local building codes and permit requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the construction industry is a plus.
