The Purchasing Coordinator will maintain positive relationships with suppliers, coordinate with sales and warehouse teams regarding supply and cost needs, and submit small permit orders to the city.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1-Perform buying duties when necessary
2-Prepare purchase orders, update bills, and other PO in Buildertrend
3-Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
4-Coordinate with the Inventory Coordinator to ensure mull bars, caulking, screws, and any other building material needed for the installation teams are in stock if required.
5-Respond to sales, customers, and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
6-Update material etas in Buildertrend and BNT Sheets
7-Convert manufacturer orders once reviewed by management
8-Determines cost of materials if needed by the sales department
9-Update and submit all stock items into Buildertrend.
10-Implement a list for the sales department of stock items
11-Monitor final measurements, agreements, and customer sign-offs
12-Determines the cost of materials if needed by the sales department.
13-Complete biweekly ordering reports.
14-Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent negotiation skills, strong decision-making abilities, dedication to provide great customer service, experience in customer relationship. Good organizational skills, Effective communications skills, and Multitask oriented.
