We are a small company but fast growing and we are looking to hire a permit coordinator and customer service rep to join the team. There is room for growth here and we will give you all of the tools and training to help with the learning curve.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit permit applications to local municipalities and follow up on approvals.
Track and maintain permit statuses for active projects.
Communicate with city departments, inspectors, and clients regarding permits and project updates.
Organize and maintain digital and physical project files.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally; assist customers with basic inquiries or route calls appropriately.
Support project managers and sales team with administrative tasks as needed.
Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Assist with light scheduling and client follow-up when needed.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines across multiple projects.
Professional and courteous phone manner.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
Familiarity with permit processes (experience preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person).
Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel, basic PDF editing).
