An established 20+ year Electrical Contractor is going through an amazing transformation and looking to grow the team. The business has an established track record of performing electrical contracting for high-end residential new build and remodel construction but has also recently launched residential service and generator businesses. Good news is business is booming, the even better news is the team is expanding. This role will be a critical part of the next evolution and growth of the company. Duties/Responsibilities:

1) Manages the residential service book of business - Is the front face of the business to clients

○ Works with clients to determine the type of electrical service required and schedules customer appointments

○ Creates customer records in CRM for all new clients that call or email

○ Directs the activities of and collaborates with service teams via scheduling

○ Coordinates with construction co-worker on the daily/weekly Service and construction schedules

○ Ensure job status is up to date and customer invoices are sent

○ Receive check/cash payment from electricians and update job payment status appropriately

2) Permitting

○ Works with Master Journeyman to perform permitting for required service projects

○ Initiates permit applications, secures signatures from clients and master Journeyman

○ Coordinates the completion of Master Journeyman's design deliverables

○ Ensure all required documentation is in order and submits permits

○ Monitors permit for payment requirements and completion

○ Creates permit packets for service teams

3) General Administration

○ Ensure all customer callbacks are performed and status is accurately documented

○ Performs daily/weekly review of service job records and follows-up to closure on all open items from weekly review

§ Ensures relevant invoices were sent to clients and ensure clients received/viewed invoices

§ Follow-ups on overdue accounts receivables

§ Coordinates with electricians to ensure estimates are sent within 24 hours

○ Ensures all client/project permitting documentation/records are organized/filed appropriately

○ Captures and directs all calls for company President and ensures timely follow-up with client

○ Assists company President with his administrative duties

○ Send Thank you cards to key customers

○ Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must have at least 10 years of work experience

3+ years of prior experience in office administration/managerial roles

Able to work independently with limited direction, self-motivated, and results driven

Excellent organization and time management skills including managing their own schedule and being punctual

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Is driven by deadlines and able to complete assigned projects on time

Experienced with and comfortable using simple software to schedule and invoice client jobs

Experience taking and making customer calls

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Extensive knowledge of office management procedure

Must have good sense of humor and enjoy laughing with teammates

Extra Credit Skills/Experience:

Experience working at an electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction company (Double Extra Credit for Electrical experience!)

Experience submitting permits

Certified Notary

Ability to speak Spanish (need not be fluent - anything helps!)

15+ years of work experience with progressively more responsibilities

Associates or Bachelor's degree

Understanding or desire to learn of current digital marketing concepts (how business use social and digital marketing to drive sales)

This role works out of our office in West Palm Beach, Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.

Compensation ranges from $19-23/hr and will be based on demonstrated experience.

Receives 5 paid holidays per year and 5 days PTO (Paid Time Off increases with years of service).
