We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller and Coder to join our team in our West Palm Beach psychiatric office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric billing and coding, with experience working with various insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, Sunshine State, and Humana etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately code and bill psychiatric services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Review and verify patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility.
Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims.
Manage denial appeals and resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation.
Stay updated on changes in billing regulations and coding practices specific to psychiatric care.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.
Able to increase the clinics revenue
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Medical Biller and Coder, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
Knowledge of psychiatric billing procedures and regulations.
Familiarity with major insurance providers (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, Sunshine State, Humana).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Certification in medical billing and coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred.
