Greeting patients:Welcoming patients to the office and helping them check in for appointments
Scheduling appointments:Booking appointments and managing the schedules of dental professionals
Managing records:Maintaining patient accounts and records, including scanning, filing, and creating patient records
Managing schedule: Maintain full schedule for Doctors and follow up with cancellations and no-shows
Handling insurance:Completing and filing insurance forms, submitting patient claims, and communicating with insurance companies
Answering calls:Answering incoming calls from patients, insurance companies, and others
Assisting patients:Helping patients fill out required forms, and assisting with basic questions or concerns
Keeping the office clean:Keeping the front office and lobby space clean
Dental front desk staff should have good interpersonal skills, effective verbal communication abilities, and the ability to be flexible when needed.They should also have experience with resolving conflicts and experience with customer service or patient relations
