We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication with clients, and assisting with essential insurance processing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and promptly
Respond to customer inquiries via email and fax
Accept and process client payments accurately
Process policy endorsements and updates
Handle policy renewals and ensure timely follow-up
Call clients regarding policy cancellations and assist with reinstatements when possible
Maintain organized and up-to-date client files and records
Provide general administrative support to the office team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred (insurance experience a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning agency management systems
Customer service oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
440 License a plus but not required
