We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wood Manufacturing Plant Supervisor to join our team and drive our manufacturing operations to new heights.

Position Overview: The Wood Manufacturing Plant Supervisor will oversee all aspects of our wood truss manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operations, maintaining high production standards, and leading a team to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in wood manufacturing, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee daily operations of the wood manufacturing plant, ensuring production schedules are met.

Implement and monitor production processes to maximize efficiency and quality.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of lead assemblers, mechanics, and production workers.

Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and training as needed.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections.

Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

Optimize inventory management to reduce waste and costs.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Drive initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the wood or construction

materials industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent knowledge of production management, quality control, and safety standards.

Proficient in using desktop computer to generate reports

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
