The immigration Law office of Eran Ben Ezra in North Miami Beach is looking for experienced paralegals in Immigration Law, we are expanding our office and require Paralegals with the following qualifications.

Experience in Immigration Law

- Family-Based Petitions: You should have hands-on experience with the filing and processing of family-based petitions, such as:

- Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative)

- Form I-485 (Application to Adjust Status)

- Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support)

- Form I-131 (Application for Travel Document)

- Other related documents and forms for family reunification.

- Humanitarian Visas: Familiarity with various humanitarian visas is essential. This can include:

- Asylum cases and applications (Form I-589)

- Refugee processing

- U visas (for victims of crime)

- T visas (for victims of trafficking)

- Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

- Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)

Document Preparation and Filing:

Experience in preparing and filing these petitions with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other relevant government agencies.

Knowledge of Immigration Laws and Procedures

Familiarity with current U.S. immigration laws, especially the nuances of family-based petitions and humanitarian visa programs, is crucial.

Understanding the steps and timelines for petition processing.

Knowledge of consular processing (for overseas petitions), Adjustment of Status (AOS), and deportation relief programs.

Data Entry and Filing:

Accurate data entry skills and knowledge of maintaining case files and documents in an organized manner.

Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, drafting legal documents, and corresponding with government agencies.

Ability to explain complex immigration procedures in a way that clients can understand.

Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills

Immigration paperwork can be complex and requires precise attention to detail to ensure that all forms are filled out correctly and deadlines are met.

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while keeping track of key deadlines and procedural requirements.

Cultural Sensitivity

Working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially when dealing with humanitarian visas, requires a degree of cultural sensitivity and understanding. Being able to empathize with clients while maintaining professionalism and legal objectivity.

Bilingual Skills (Preferred)

PARALEGALS WITHOUT EXPERIENCE MAY ALSO APPLY FOR DIFFERENT TASKS SUCH AS CALLING LEADS AND FOLLOWING UP WITH CLIENTS.
