Broward Law Firm seeks a legal assistant to join our Probate and Guardianship Department. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented person who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Minimum (4) years' law office experience required. Experience in Probate, Guardianship and/or Trusts a plus. This is available as a full time or part-time position and hybrid of in office and work from home.
Some of your specific duties will include, but aren't limited to:
Office administration (i.e. answering the phone, processing the mail, etc.);
Scheduling office meetings, phone conferences, depositions, hearings and mediations;
Drafting, preparing, and serving various pleadings, discovery, and correspondence;
Preparing attorneys for hearings, mediations, depositions, etc.;
Processing incoming and outgoing documents;
Managing multiple case files (electronic and hard copy);
Heavy client interaction
Candidates should have excellent multi-tasking and communication skills. This is a full-time, permanent position, which is available immediately to the right candidate.
