- Receive and make telephone calls, give appropriate information to attract new clients and follow up.
- Scheduling and arranging appointments.
- Fill out various immigration forms and applications for clients.
- Organize and keep up to date client documents and case files.
- Mail, fax or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients.
- Make photocopies of correspondence, documents and forms as needed for each case.
- Assisting attorneys in compiling all case information, preparing physical and system files, keeping electronic and physical files up to date.
- Attend all meetings, such as client interviews, hearings, and take notes.
- Prepare and distribute invoices for clients and follow up on payments for each client.
- Strong attention to detail and very organizational skills.
- Review immigration legal publications and perform database searches to identify new regulations and court decisions relevant to pending cases.
- Organize attorney scheduling and travel.
-Work weekends if required.
