We are a North Miami-based Law Firm/Title Company. We are seeking an Experienced Title Closer OR Real Estate Paralegal for immediate hire. The ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, has prior title experience, and is reliable and detail oriented. This is a Full-Time position; Schedule is Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong customer service skills.
Be able to manage files from inception to closing, and work well alongside our title processor.
Clear title requirements for closing.
Coordinate closings with Buyer, Seller, Attorney(s), Lender and Realtors, and set up the closing location, date and time and executing mail-away closings, as applicable.
Draft closing documents/prepare closing statements (HUDs/CDs).
Perform the closing with all parties and notarization of all documents.
Handle post-closing recordings (via Simplifile) and policy preparation.
Requirements:
2+ years of full-time experience in title/closings.
Be able to work efficiently, handle deadline pressures and work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
Be detail oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have a positive attitude, be a team player and be self-motivated.
Must be computer proficient experience in DoubleTime is a plus.
Fluent in spoken/written English. Bilingual in Spanish.
