Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PPF (Paint Protection Film) and Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying paint protection films and vinyl wraps to vehicles and boats. You will work on a wide range of boats and vehicles, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise installations that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for automotive aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Install Paint Protection Films (PPF) and vinyl wraps on various boat/vehicle surfaces including hoods, fenders, bumpers, roofs, and mirrors.
Perform detailed preparation work before application, such as cleaning, trimming, and measuring to ensure precise fitment.
Utilize tools such as heat guns, squeegees, and knives to apply films and wraps with accuracy, ensuring no air bubbles, creases, or imperfections.
Inspect boats/vehicles before and after installation to ensure the final product meets company and client standards.
Perform quality control checks and ensure all projects are completed on time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in PPF and/or vinyl wrap installation (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work with various vinyl materials (gloss, matte, satin, etc.) and PPF films.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Proficiency in using installation tools and understanding of vehicle surfaces.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with window tinting or ceramic coating applications is a plus.
Certification from a reputable training program or manufacturer is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoors or in a garage setting.
