Overview
Kids United Miramar (www.kidsunited.com/miramar) is a brand new state of the art soccer center for early development. Our unique training method is intended to develop physical, personal, intellectual abilities and social skills of children from 1.5 to 10 years old. Kids United not only teaches children how to play soccer; it acts as an early development system, using soccer as the main educational and delivery tool. we are looking for Ideal candidates that will be responsible for running and leading classes and ensuring that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities. Ideal candidates will also be able to communicate with parents on the progress of their child and keep the parents engaged in the program. classes will be held weekdays between 4pm and 8pm, and weekends from 9am to 3pm.
Responsibilities:
Training children ages 1.5-10 yrs old, max 12 children per class.
Plan and conduct engaging soccer practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Capable of following and understanding KidsUnited training sessions.
Consistently giving parent feedback about their child's progress as well as keeping accurate records of feedback.
Communicating with parents about the purpose of each session and core focuses
Ensure health and safety precautions are observed during all activities
Maintaining equipment and keeping the facility clean.
Collaborate with other coaches to develop training programs that align with overall team objectives.
Requirements
Basic understanding of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and rules of the game.
6 months or more as an assistant youth coach or 1 year working with children (preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
