The ideal candidate will need to be able to work 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and have the flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed. This role requires expertise in both aesthetic and technical aspects of painting, ensuring that the exterior of our establishment maintains a pristine and appealing appearance.ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing as necessary.Apply primers, paints, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.Ensure that all painting work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability.Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure cohesive project execution.Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Keep records of work completed and materials used.Provide touch-up and repair services as needed to maintain the establishment’s appearance. Education and ExperienceMinimum of 5 years proven experience as a professional painter in commercial projects.Experience with pressure cleaning and light carpentry highly preferred.High school diploma or equivalent; preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under deadlines.Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.Fluency in English, preferred.Physical RequirementsPosition requires frequent and prolonged walking, standing, crawling into confined spaces, and climbing of stairs, ladders, and scaffolding in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Must have the ability to speak, hear, bend, balance, squat, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to frequently handle and use hand and power tools, paint, chemicals, and general cleaning supplies.
