Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. This is a full time position working 5 days a week from 1 PM to 9:30 PM.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness of the common areas of the shopping center (mop, sweep, dust, garbage removal).Perform maintenance duties as assigned.Provide excellent customer services.General upkeep of buildings and grounds.Light landscape maintenance may be assigned.Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition.Education and ExperiencePrior janitor, porter, or maintenance experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesLight maintenance knowledge a plus.Reliable, on time, team player.Time management skills and strong work ethic.Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies, ability to read and understand Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ability to understand proper applications of chemicals and general cleaning supplies, ability to frequently handle and properly dispose of these products.Physical RequirementsPosition requires frequent walking, standing, crawling into confined spaces, and climbing of stairs and ladders in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Must also have the ability to speak, hear, bend, balance, squat, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 50 lbs.
