Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Be the friendly face of our store, providing excellent service, answering questions, and building relationships with our customers.
Store Operations: Handle sales transactions, take customer orders, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment at all times.
Inventory & Stocking: Unpack deliveries and diligently stock shelves and other merchandise. This requires the ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
Animal Husbandry: Provide daily care for our live chickens, ensuring they have fresh food and water, and that their living area is clean and well-maintained.
Store Events: Actively participate in the planning, setup, and execution of store events like "Chick Days," workshops, and community sales.
Qualifications:
A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Must be able to consistently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable and confident handling live animals, specifically chickens.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in retail, farming, or animal care is a significant plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn is most important.
Job Type: [Full-Time / Part-Time]
Schedule: Weekdays, some Saturdays required
Pay: Starting per hour, based on experience.
