Field Service Generator Technician
Must know how to troubleshoot, problem solve, load bank, knowledge of its systems, and be familiar with generator controls.
Self-motivated, customer-service driven-technicians with a respected background of following established procedures as well as engaging in complex problem-solving to provide solutions to generator issues in the field.
Capable of a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application.
Able to communicate effectively with customers of varying levels of technical expertise to clearly explain issues, and solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
Can communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels within the company as well as with equipment manufacturers and other vendors.
Ability to mentor other service technicians by sharing their knowledge and experience.
Organized and focused, managing their time well and not letting anything fall through the cracks.
Professional Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing, maintenance/troubleshooting, and repairing engines for all fuel, engine including transfer switch and/or switchgear.
Proficient in using computers and field service software.
Work well under pressure, in all weather conditions 24/7.
Ability to handle multiple duties and tasks safely.
Strong mechanical skills.
Must be very familiar with working tools standard/metric conversions measurement.
Able to read and work with the Electrician's Volts Multimeter.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Must be available and willing to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays, and answer rotating on-call shifts.
Must be able to safely operate heavy equipment as well as a forklift in accordance to OSHA regulations.
Must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States and have a valid and clean Florida Driver’s License.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience
