Job: Event Crew Staffing
Pay: $20/Hour

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic event staff to assist with a high-energy fitness competition. This role requires strong customer service skills, physical endurance, and adaptability to ensure a well-organized and successful event.
Responsibilities:
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving fitness equipment such as barbells, dumbbells, and weights.
Direct athletes and spectators to the appropriate areas.
Provide customer service support, answering questions and assisting attendees as needed.
Move and transport boxes/equipment to keep the event space organized.
Stay actively engaged and attentive throughout the entire shift.
Be flexible and open to reassignments within different areas of the event.
Maintain a professional, neat, and friendly appearance at all times.
Direct participant inquiries to event supervisors or staff when necessary.
Perform additional event-related tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods – no exceptions.
Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
Comfort handling fitness equipment such as barbells, dumbbells, and weight plates.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous event staffing, athletic, or fitness-related experience is a plus.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to stay professional and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

General Requirements
When working in Event Staff or Food Service Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:
Working independently or in a team to cook, prepare, serve, or transport food items
Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register in a professional and courteous manner
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, or other items at the start or end of your shift
Work on your feet, either stationary or constantly moving for the full shift
Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities at times, as required by the immediate supervisor
Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment
There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
Note for that for any event staff position that requires handling food, you will need to follow GMP guidelines which include keeping your hair up, neatly trimmed fingernails, and you may be required to cover any facial hair.
