We are seeking a skilled Electric Pallet Jack rider for our client in the production industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials using an electric pallet jack to ensure the smooth flow of production. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate an electric pallet jack to transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and production lines, ensuring proper placement and organization.
Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of discrepancies or low stock levels.
Assist in the preparation of materials for shipment, including labeling, wrapping, and packing.
Support general warehouse duties, such as stock replenishment, order picking, and cycle counting, as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience operating an electric pallet jack in a warehouse or production environment.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
This role involves standing, walking, and moving materials for extended periods.
Basic understanding of warehouse inventory systems.
Forklift certification or experience with other material handling equipment.
