Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks to include painting, water pressure cleaning, carpentry, trash removal, dry wall repair and repair work commonly associated with condominiums, etc.
Responsibilities include working with the Property Manager, Officers of the Board and other staff to ensure the property is clean and excellently maintained.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
General repair and maintenance
Painting, drywall and carpentry
Inspect property daily to identify problems and necessary
maintenance
Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage
Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site
Perform preventative maintenance work
Responsible for keeping neat, orderly and safe workshop and storage
areas
Maintaining trash rooms
Able to use pressure washer to clean sidewalks and other areas of the
property
Change light bulbs when necessary
Check and record daily pool chemical levels
Check emergency equipment on a daily basis and replace batteries if
needed
Perform preventative maintenance on common area HVAC Units
Other duties as outlined by the Property Manager
Report any dangerous maintenance situations to Property Manager
Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards
and company safety policies
