Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and repairing structures, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards on the job site. The Carpenter/Laborer will work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contribute to a variety of projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds.

Responsibilities

Execute carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to determine specifications and requirements.

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.

Perform concrete forming, plastering, masonry, and stucco work as needed.

Assist in water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts.

Engage in heavy lifting and moving materials as required on the job site.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities within the restoration industry.

Skills

Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading.

Experience with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, roofing, woodworking, and flooring installation.

Familiarity with rebar installation, metal stud framing, CNC operation, assembly processes, and electrical experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of construction practices including caulking, siding installation, remodeling techniques, tile laying, plumbing skills, and construction painting.

Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.

Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
