Duties:

- Inspect and assess damaged vehicles to determine repair costs and feasibility of repairs

- Evaluate vehicle condition and value based on industry standards and guidelines

- Review repair estimates and negotiate with repair shops to ensure fair and accurate pricing

- Communicate with insurance companies, policyholders, and repair shops to gather necessary information for appraisal process

- Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and submit them to insurance companies for claim processing

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to auto appraisals

Requirements:

- Previous experience in automotive repair, auto body repair, or auto service management is required

- Strong knowledge of automotive service, maintenance, and repair processes

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately assess vehicle condition and damages

- Strong negotiation skills to ensure fair pricing with repair shops

- Effective communication skills to interact with insurance companies, policyholders, and repair shops

- Proficient computer skills for documentation and report preparation

- Parts ordering

- CCC Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Physical setting:

Office

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

Commission pay

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Auto estimating: 2 years (Preferred)
