We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for our mum/wife at home. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in various medical procedures.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, dressing changes, and personal hygiene assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for the patient.
- Provide support and guidance to family members and nursing assistants.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in [Florida].
- Minimum [2-5] years of experience as an LPN, preferably in an acute care or geriatric setting.
- References
- Background check.
- Proficiency in infection control practices and protocols.
- Experience administering injections and performing other medical procedures.
- Strong knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patient, family and the healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
