Accurately audit medical records for correct documentation to support coding of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding
- Perform ongoing auditing and evaluation of HEDIS Measures, MRA and Compliance Audits as needed. Experience is preferred.
- Effectively communicate with physicians and their staff regarding discrepancies or problems and ensure all corrections are submitted timely.
- Able to analyze results, identify patterns, and create a plan of corrective action. Provide training when needed.
- Participates in coding / auditing discussions to ensure best practice efforts and processes are implemented ensuring maximum reimbursement through appropriate coding
- Work under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment
- Must be willing to travel within Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County area
