What you will be doing?

Answering the phones in a timely manner cordially and caring way

Scheduling appointment, accurately documenting and entering the information collected

Confirming appointment and documenting it

Following up with patients after the treatments, documenting the responses and respond as needed

Updating the appointment status on the schedule (before and after the visit)

Clearly explaining the value of the service, we provide, with confidence and compassion

Helping verifying insurance benefits and obtaining pre-authorization as needed

Optimizing the schedule to be able to assist emergencies, etc.

Ensuring all communications (texts, emails, voice message, etc.) are promptly followed up

Timely checking in patient, making sure all forms has been completed by the patient

Communicating with other dental offices, patient referral sources and other entities as needed

Accurately collecting payments and documenting payments

Identifying business opportunities

Helping overflow during treatment plan explanations

Helping the dental assistants, during your slow time, to take scans, to sterilize and set up rooms during their busy time (training provided)

What are we looking for?

Previous dental office experience

Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance terminology

Excellent communication (verbal and written in English and Spanish)

Excellent customer service skills

Strong organizational, multitasking abilities and detailed oriented

Knowledge of Microsoft Excell and Words, etc.

Knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA and infection control regulations to ensure compliance

Have basic mathematical skills

A team player with good references
