Job Summary-
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. Duties-
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate cash register and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling
- Assist with stocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations
Skills-
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Knowledge of the food industry, particularly in coffee preparation
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling basic math calculations
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent sales skills to upsell products and increase revenue
