Stormwater Technician IUnder the supervision of the Stormwater Infrastructure Foreman, performs semi-skilled work in the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Town’s stormwater systems. Incumbents in this classification may be trained and assigned to operate various Town vehicles/equipment on an intermittent basis. Repairs and maintains the Town’s stormwater conveyance system, including catch basins, swales, structures and other related components. Assists in the removal of debris from the Town’s bodies of water or drainage basins, and restructures disturbed concrete, asphalt and landscape areas as needed. Operates trucks and construction and maintenance equipment as necessary to complete work projects. Checks equipment and controls traffic around work sites pursuant to MOT standards if necessary. Maintains records related to assigned work areas. May input and recall information using a computer terminal or mobile device. Performs other related job duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience. Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver’s License also required.
Pay range: $19.47 to $31.16 per hour. Excellent benefits.
