Development Engineer

Establish validation Test Plans for HVAC units, Specifications, Reliability testing  and perform the tests in lab per the established planUL & AHRI Regulatory knowledge and application to products testing and specification (AHRI, UL, ETL)Product development based on customer requirements and current or future regulations and transferring those requirements down to component levelTest prototypes, write development test reports and document results according to company rulesOversee product development tasks including testing, assembly & manufacturingCommunicating development and test validations results timelyEstablish & Deliver development test engineer tasks per planned Project Milestones and scopesOwnership to resolve technical problems or prompt response to address issues and escalate as neededBe a team player within cross function teams, understand multidiscipline needs  (Engineering, Marketing, Assembly, Logistics, Purchasing,etc ) and support them as neededAdhere to Safety & Security ProtocolsFollow-up on Test Plans, Ratings, Durability and ReliabilityQuality focusTechnical risk passement tools (FMEA, DRBFM) knowledge and experienceKnowledge and experience on DFMA (design for manufacturing and assembly)Proactively identify and address product & project issue
