Actalent is Hiring Associate Scientists // First and Second Shift!Job DescriptionAs an Associate Scientist, you will be required to perform routine tests of various samples including finished products, stability samples, raw materials, and CV samples. Your work will involve assays, chromatographic purity, content uniformity using UV and HPLC, and particle size distribution. You will evaluate test results and decide the acceptability of the samples. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate lab notebooks, completing all related analytical reports, and keeping proper documentation in compliance with SOPs. As part of your role, you will assist in training new analysts and conduct laboratory investigations when necessary. You will also be expected to follow all SOPs and Safety Guidelines to ensure compliance with a cGMP environment.Hard Skills
BS in Chemistry
HPLC/UPLC
UV-Vis
Experience with assays and chromatographic purity
Knowledge of cGMP environment
Soft Skills
Accurate record keeping
Ability to evaluate and interpret test results
Training new analysts
Conducting laboratory investigations
Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site position and candidates must live in Florida. You will be working in a lab environment that is regulated by the FDA and adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
