179D Energy modeler(s) needed to model energy-efficient systems, including Building Envelope, HVAC and Lighting, for commercial, government, nonprofit and tribal buildings versus a similar building using ASHRAE 90.1-2007 standards.
Requirements:
Mechanical engineer or similar education / experience
Must have a strong working knowledge of Trace 700 or other IRS-approved software for 179D.
Must understand 179D and the modeling requirements.
Must have Errors and Omissions Insurance.
Must be knowledgeable in Building Envelope, HVAC & Lighting Systems.

Fees are based on the number of systems to model and / or inspect and square footage of the facility.
