DESCRIPTION:
Hood Depot is an engineering firm and national UL listed manufacturer. We design and manufacture hood/ventilation systems and related equipment for commercial kitchens, institutions, and government facilities throughout the
United States and internationally. We are currently looking for an experienced CAD drafter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce complete mechanical floor and elevation plans
Produce and modify dynamic blocks
Draft mechanical plans based on accurate field measurements
Work closely with professional licensed engineers
Assist in maintaining project timelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat (Inventor is a plus)
High level understanding of CAD drafting techniques and terminology
Minimum of 2 years AutoCAD experience
Able to accurately measure and record field measurements (strong math skills)
Self-motivated and the able to quickly follow through on tasks
Strong communication skills
Interested in working within a collaborative studio atmosphere
